Down to earth (地に足がついている）
Down to earth is an adjective used to describe usually a person who is very realistic, very sensible, really sincere, kind of a good solid person you can really depend on.
この表現は、人の性格について説明する時に使われる形容詞です。とても現実的で、思慮深く、思いやりがあって、しっかり者。そんな人を説明する時にぴったりの表現です。
